It would be my assumption that the mag well of the complete lower is designed for a 5.56 / .223 magazine and will work WITH a 9mm magazine adapter... but I will let those who know better than I say for sure: I just wanted you to get some answer quickly because it looks like you are still on right now.

They use a standard AR15 lower but with a slip in mag well adapter.

The 9mm uppers are all gone but there are some complete 556 guns left and s complete lower.

For the guys that purchased the 9mm upper, the thread size for a muzzle device is 1/2" x 36 TPI.
