So i had my High-Standard Supermatic Citation out at the range last week and it was shooting great till the last few rounds. The trigger seemed to stop resetting itself and you would have to move the trigger ahead just a hair to get it to shoot.

Does anyone have any experience with a similar problem or have any ideas? I took it down and gave it a good cleaning but still having the same issue.

~ Clean and lube of course.

~ Loosen LH grip screws, check trigger pull.

~ Remove LH grip, loosen side plate, check trigger pull.

~ Remove the side plate, check for binding on the sear bar. Go easy, small parts inside.

Back off the overtravel screw. It's the small allen head screw in the center of the trigger face.

If you decide to remove the left hand grip panel be very careful not to lose the slide stop & the very tiny coil spring that is located in a small recess in the front of the stop.
