Wow...is all I can say.

Right across Sask it's high winds right now and they are getting stronger as the week goes on and mixed in with rain and snow.

Prime moose rut and cannot call and cannot go on lakes.

Moose are quite "spooky" on windy days cannot call I guess only hope is to catch them in cuts feeding as they still have to get their calories in prep for winter.

The good news is if you can find one, easier to sneak up on. I shot a bull one time in 50 km/h winds with sideways rain, was exciting!

I feel you. I have a hate-hate relationship with wind. It feels like whenever I go shooting it's 50-70km winds. When I'm hunting it's 5-10km winds in the wrong direction.

I find light rain/snow to be more beneficial to concealing scent and noise when I'm hunting.

Even higher winds this a.m.

As if it could get any worse.

I spent 2 weeks in Porcupines in Archery Elk....I swear I only got 4 days where it was a "calm" morning or evening....

I had lots of action regardless but high winds make it 10x harder.

It's very frustrating...
