That's one of the saddest things I've ever seen...this guys should:
a) Spend a LOT more time at the range
b) Take up bowhunting
c) Scrap the Remington M710 he might have been using, or
d) Sober up before going hunting

Now he could have just knocked off his scope accidentally or something like that (or just had a crappy scope), so it might not be awful marksmanship.

Or he could be just trying for a head shot or neck and kept pulling to the left. Guy needs to shoot off a rest I think.

I think it is more likely that the guy banged his scope off while getting into his stand.

Yeah, his scope was off. This is posted elsewhere on the site, btw. When shooting downhill (or out of a stand) you tend to shoot high at closer ranges, but his trajectory is left-left-left. Obviously he didn't see where his shots were landing and kept aiming for the same supposedly correct spot. It's still pretty funny though. There's a guy at work who went out for the first time this year and emptied two mags at a fawn - all misses! He was shooting downhill.
I find it curious that young deer will just stand there when being shot at repeatedly. These are obviously not Scarborough deer...
