Not spring assisted - running on bearings currently. Much more reliable and nicer than a spring assist.

I would not be expecting that. In fact, it would be a slap in the face. Knives at that price point should be made of high quality bearings and washers that will deploy the blade a lot nicer than a spring operated one. Do you have much experience with anything past a Kershaw?

Kinda a little bit out of my interest range in this climate and I'm a knife and gun collector.
A bit pricey, maybe once the second wave hits, that will soften your prices because I know you have them mark up approximately 70%

Funny thing is, these have been this price and higher for more than 10 years....when I bought mine back in 2007 I paid pretty damn close to this.

Price is very competitive. I have one in my modest collection that was gifted to me. My father bought it when these were impossible to find for $650 used. Looks good next to my Chris Reeve
