Im sure this has been discussed before but was just wondering what most of you guys prefer in a hunting rig, hinge, detach or blind magazine?
Ive had every type of magazine system and I prefer a hinge plate. I like them best because I tend to loose alot of stuff in the field  and figure if I can't take an animal with 3 rounds I shouldnt be shooting.;) So whats it for you??

Cheers!!

If the rifle is just for hunting I prefer hinged. But my rifles do double duty as farm guns and are detachable magazine so they can be left out with a loaded magazine close at hand.

I have both hinged floorplate and detachable magazine rifles but I like detachable magazines more because it's so easy and quick to load and unload especially if you're in and out of a vehicle going from hunting area to hunting area. Nothing like accidently dropping a hinged floorplate mag full of rounds into the snow bank to convince one.;)

+1 I hate having rounds falling in the dirt. I've never lost a mag, but I always have one on back-up just in case...

I actually prefer a detachable mag as long as it is not the overly designed Browning A-bolt system.I will not own a rifle with a blind magazine.

I like using a blind mag, tube feed or a singleshot like the Ruger # 1. Never have to worry about losin the damned mag or forgetting it like I have seen some people do.

I 'll take them all, as long as they're part of a gun that shoots well, I can adjust. Detachable mags have all the advantages though.
