Hints on removing usgi ranger plates from LAR 15 gen 2 mags

As above, anyone have any tips for doing this?

They were real snug going on and I'm afraid to break them and the mags taking them off.
So far increasingly less gentle methods of persuasion may end up doing some unwarrented terminal destructive testing to em

Mounted 2 gs design extensions so far on factory gen 2 LAR mags without issue but have 5 more with ranger plates that r being stubborn, uncooperative and obstructive.

Help, suggestions, and or donations of dm12 appreciated just kidding about the dm12. any suitable plastique like petn, or Semtex or c4 donations or det cord r appreciated

The Ranger Plate is 2 pieces. The inside base plate needs to be pushed in so the outside plate can slide off.
The bullet shaped lock on the bottom needs to be pushed in, as does the lock tab at the rear of the plate.
