HiPoint 9mm Carbine restricted ?

considering a hipoint 9mm carbine. just to use at the range and don't care if she gets banged up

comments on them ? I know they are cheap

They are in fact nonrestricted right ?

The current crop are non-restricted, but some restricted models have made it into the country in the past ... based on barrel length for classification.

I got a Hi Point 995 TS 9mm, It's non restricted, 18.5" barrel. But the mags are limited to 5 rd. Since they never brought in the 9mm pistol to Canada first. But there are also 16" Restricted models in Canada. Now I don't think they came with any NR in Canada other then 9mm.

The 40 and 45 ACP model are limit to 10rds. Since the pistol came first.

There are a little. Stocks not really since the 995 TS ( or the new ones ) have a different method of securing them. Really only work on the restricted models.

They are ugly but they work, and quite accurate.
