Hipoints and zombie guns

Wait what. It ACTUALLY says in the manual NOT to EVER CLEAN it????

This is a joke right? Or am I missing something about the magical self cleaning gun?

Or maybe is just so cheap you shoot it till it jams and then buy a new one. Kind of like a chevette.

I got this Hipoint in .40 cal and made it into a kind of zombie gun. I don't think there is a thread for Hipoints yet so post um here and zombie guns too. I think the hipoint is a much better gun then the JR, it half the price and its really rugged and can take a real beating. never had a fail yet and it says you don't need to clean them so I am not cleaning this gun till I get a fail in it. I added the zombie stopper that I haven't tried yet and a laser/light combo and also i took the recoil springs out of the butt plate. there is no need for them on a pistol carbine and I find the gun slaps your cheek when you shoot with them in.

I read the manual again. it says every 2000 rounds for complete cleaning. i'm not sure were I read it didn't need cleaning. my mistake.

Problem is many would rather pay to play with the non restricted JR Carbine than a restricted hi point that can only go to the range. Is the hi point ambidextrous like the JR Carbine?

The JR Carbine can have the charging handle changed and ejection port changed to suit a lefty. No extra parts required, no fancy tools and done in minutes.

no it doesn't have that ability. the charging handle in on the left side of the gun. I never tried shooting it left hand but next time I use it I will track how it throws the spent shells to see if you could shoot it left hand.
