No idea where things are at with this rifle and our country but anyone know if HK will be done sending us SL8 variants and start selling the new new to distributors
I’m assuming that it’s different enough to work around the AR pattern (certainly looks more different than a crypto does)
Anyway…a hk fanboy can dreamIMG_9910.jpeg

There are no semi auto version, and the fact that no one other than KSK buying like 150x 300blk it means mass production is not going to be in the near future.

That adds up
Oh well, here’s hoping for a semi, possibly NR (if needed to be by then) version

The german civilian market is still buying MR223 and the Bund is going HK416A8 G95 for everyone I doubt a semi sporting HK433 will be coming soon but full auto gun with a semi trigger pack maybe in the card. This is mainly a product for SF and German/Frenchg police departments when they decide to jump on the suppressed 300blk band wagon en-mass, as the many original 5.56 HK416 and A1 are hitting 10 years+ old and 300 blk is probably a better LE cartridge. The replacement probably starts happening just think of the age of the existing weapons.

In Germany hunting/pest control is allowed with SBR, so it also depends on how the german shooting/hunting crowd demands a suppressed 300blk gun for hunting.

Would it even matter though? Doesn't C21 prevent any new model semi auto's from coming to market here?

It was designed prior to September 12 2023. So it wouldn't be captured under the new C-21 definition of

"(iii) is designed and manufactured on or after the day on which this paragraph comes into force; (arme à feu prohibée)"

That said greentips is probably right that it's one of those rifles that don't get mass production for civilian use.
