Is there anyone in Canada who can service this type of rifle or at the very least order parts? (I was told by HK customer service that they can be ordered but not by the average Joe Canadian). Any help is appreciated thanks,

hk 630 problems

I think the problem has to do with the tab on the cocking lever that holds the bolt back. After 6 rounds it somehow unscrewed itself and I found it in the snow at my feet. I was in the middle of shooting and when it went "click-not "bang" I noticed the bolt wasn't fully closed and the cocking lever wasn't grabbing the bolt. I took it inside and was able to move the bolt back enough to remove the live round when I noticed a small "pin" of some sort fell out on the floor. Maybe I'll take some pics later of the pieces I have and you can tell me what's missing. All I know is that the lever will not hold the bolt open anymore.

I think I've got it!

There's a spring loaded plunger which pushes against the catch lever to hold the bolt back. This was the mystery "pin" I found when I pried the bolt back. It's pretty beat up but I think I can find the part at Numrich. The trouble is I can't tell from the drawing they provide. Is there a web site that has a clear parts diagram for this type of rifle ( It looks like this line of rifles-630, 770, 940, sl6&7 all have the same type of action so I could probably identify the correct part from any one of those diagrams).

Thanks
