Looking to buy an HK 770, have done some research on the net with little results. For those of you with experience, I would appreciate some pros and cons of the rifle. Price will be around $1500 in as new condition.

Slick rifles, but are no longer made. They weren't around long either.
Magazines are horrendously expensive too. Gunparts, Stateside, wants $60.80US for a 3 round mag housing alone. That's just the box. No internal parts. $39.40US for a follower(sold out anyway). $10.45US for the mag spring. A complete 3 round mag runs $60 to $75US, Stateside.
Scope mounts aren't any better. Price wise.
Don't think I'd want to part with $1500 for a rifle that isn't made any more.

They're outstanding rifles. Heavy, yes, but a far cry from the BAR and Jam-O-Matics you get now.
