Hk 94??

Pick it up! You will NOT be sorry.

Basically handles like an MP5 but without the FA capacity and of course a longer barrel. Very soft on the shoulder, very accurate, and super cool.

If I got one I would have the barrel shortened / replaced with a real MP5 barrel.

Hopefully one of these days you will be able to take it to the range!

I'm in Norway right now, so I can get one NIB and have it on the range once all the paperwork clears (3-6 months cuz the cops are nice and slow). Are the 94 and mp5 parts interchangeable?

Except for the trigger housing and mag release, they are pretty much identical. Bolt carrier is slightly different.

cool thanks for the info. Anything i should watch out for?

Esquif, gotta be an officer in the military to own an mp5

Very nice. I hope you dont intend on bringing that back to Canada.

Hopefully the HK94 sold in Norway will allow for an OEM HK SMG length barrell. The US models sold in Canada had the crazy long barrel that was simply ###.

Ya Im not planning on bringing it back anytime soon - but one can only hope. I dont think there are barrel length restrictions here, so I hope to get an MP5 barrel put on it. Will find out in a few weeks

I hope you don't mean you want to bring it into Canada? It is prohib here, so it cannot be imported. Only the ones that are currently here in Canada can be traded amongst those who are grandfathered...

Ya, I know that it's a prohib. Ill just shoot her over here and keep it in storage when I move back to kanuckistan

I think that the HK94 has welded barrels and are not easily interchanged with a standard MP5 barrel might want to look into that.

With the current atmosphere the way it is in Kanuckistan, I wont be bringing any of my guns home any time soon :(

Can't swap it out in Canada, as far as I know only the RCMP have the press that is required for MP5 barrel swap. Most shorties are cut down and threaded by gunsmiths. I like my long barrel actually...

Any good machinist can make up a jig to press the old barrel out. The mandrel to pull the new one in would be just as easy.
