HK MR223A3 mag /LAR-15 pistol mag

I was wondering if the LAR-15 pistol mag fits in the HK MR223A3 or does it cause any issues?

They should be fine. They'll either fit and work, or they won't.

The older ATRS plastic pistol mags work fine, drop free.

They work just fine. I use them in my MR223A3. However, fully loaded, they can be hard to insert on a closed bolt.

The same can be said for almost any magazine. Most are hard to insert on a closed bolt.
