Ah, I thought forum that was more for the .223/assault rifle type stuff. Isn't this forum for the bigger calibers? (like .308)

More for the FN FAL, M14, G3 etc. type. The generation that immediately preceded the "assault rifles": M16, SA 80, FAMAS, etc.

Your interest is in .308, but they're still based on an AR platform...

I don't think the SR25 is used as a battle rifle. More of a precision rifle I think they actually use "sniper" but I am not sure about that. Who uses HK MR308 for anything?
