HK P30l sights ??

I'm new to the p30l. I consider myself a pretty good shot with my cz SP01 shadow, and can pull off tight groups no problem.

my question is with regards to the hk sights. every time I take my p30 out, I shoot tight-ish groups, but about 2-3 inches low and left of the intended target. I feel like the rear sight is too wide or something. does anyone else have this issue? are there any upgrade sights available that you guys have tried?

I found some Trijicons for mine (lucked out and stumbled across a set at Calgary Shooting Centre). I had similar problems with offset groups as well; for me it was consistently 2" to the left. I eventually figured out my problem was my trigger-finger placement. That was after blaming everything I could on the gun. hah. The looong pull on the HK trigger took some getting used to.

I have the same pistol.
Make sure you are using the sight picture correctly, that is aligning the 2 dots with the front sight dot dot and NOT siting the front sight dot on the base of the rear sight (like you would do with a G17 for instance). Keep those dots aligned and you are good.
I have owned several P30s and none had accuracy issues. As long as you or a previous owner did not do any mods/swaps to the sights, it should be ok since they come sighted in from factory (and with a test target).

Low and left (right handed shooter), but reasonable grouping is, 99% of the time, the shooter. Sometimes, with a new gun, you have to go back to the basics, and build up again.
