Hello guys
I'm 1911"s and stainless but I always was thinking about a composite material handgun . I had an experience with Glock ( I got it in trade ) - and was very upset ( Sorry to Glock owners ) . Then few days ago I was like WTF ? - you want it - go get it . I called to AL FLAHERTY"S and got a new gun in 3 days
Today I went to my club and was pleased how HK is performing .
I guess I going to keep this gun.

After 1 year of owning a P30L, I still fully agree with you - it beats a glock hands down! The 1 drawback to owning it: it's hard to find accessories, and the mag costs (assuming that you find any) are out of this world: $80 before tax! On top of it all, if you're a lefty like me, finding a holster for it can become an excercise in frustration control...

However, I found a way to overcome these frustrations: I shot a glock. Did that a few months ago, and right after it, I felt really good again about owning a P30L!

Congrats!

Everyone that has handled my p30ls model was impressed. Decent trigger out of the box.

Good choice. HK P30L is arguably the best plastic frame pistol on the market today.

P.S. Is the last picture that of you celebrating your new purchase?

i want to see if i can get the Safety for my p30L to make things easier for CQB.

the p30 is the only polymer handgun that has fit my hands properly. the rest just dont feel right.

holsters aren't to bad to find, finding one that will fit the gun with a tac light is impossible.

I've shot a P30 on a couple of occasions and I have to say it's the most ergonomic pistol I've ever tried. Without question, it's a fantastic piece. Congratulations!

I don't think you will have any luck. I had a P30-L and was told by HK USA that the S model is a slightly different frame. I sold my P30-L to purchase a P30-L-S. I really like the S model.

BTW,..the front sight is a little thick. I am trying to get Dawson precision FO sight set with thin front sight for my P30-L-S,...but I am not having any luck.

Might be getting a set of LPA adjustable FO sights. They make a nice looking set for the P30...

Great looking gun! I'm in the market for one but can't decide between P30LS Da/Sa or the P30L V1 with LEM.. Anyone has suggestions? Its for general target shooting.

The LEM trigger has a very different feel to it, you will likely love it or hate it, but I would recommend not buying one unless you shoot it first.

As to the LS model with safety, it is an unneeded feature. The safety is just one more thing to remember to deal with IMHO. Just get the DA/SA with decocker and go from there. For general target shooting just keep it simple.:)

the safety is more for proper grip. It acts as a thumb rest like a 1911,..and it gives you the option of using it cocked in SA with the safety engaged....or shooting DA first shot...

if you use a proper grip like a thumbs forward grip, you will likely ride the slide lever, and if you run dry you may not realize it as the slide may not lock back....with the S model, I have never had that problem. I have had both the P30-L and P30-L-S models,...and also the HK USP in LEM, DA/SA,...variants 1, 3 and 9....
