Hello all,

I am wondering what the true value of a P7 PSP (early version with no heat shield) is worth compared to a P7M8.

I am reading that guys are paying like 300-700 for P7 PSP in the states and like 900-1500 for a P7M8 and up.

So I was just wondering if the P7M8s on here are worth 1600-2100 on here.
What is the P7 without the heat shield worth?

Thanks

best deal I've seen a few years ago on the p7PSP's was around 700 for a beat up one in the EE.
They were available surplus a few years ago for cheaper(then current asking price) but that doesn't seem to be the case now.
Around $1000 would be my guess for a budget.

If you see a deal down south, you can import from the US for a couple hundered bucks or so.

That is a P7 PSP. The pistol appears to have it's original finish and from what I can see, it's in good condition, although the sqeeze cocker has some bluing wear on the side, so I imagine it's been shot, and/or played with a fair bit.

There was a vendor (Armtac) selling ex-police re-furbished P7 PSP's on here a few months ago. From what I can recall he was selling them for around $1200-1300.00 plus tax/S&H.

I prefer to purchase a gun that has it's original finish and is in good condition, instead of a refurbished finish, but that's just me!

As mentioned above, you can't really compare the P7 pricing in the US to Cdn prices, especially P7's as they are now becoming "collector" items since they are no longer being made.

You can purchase and import P7's from the US, but you have to be careful that you don't get a Prohib version. Also, if you buy privately, the cost to import a pistol usually runs $300.00 and in some cases, plus 5% of the purchase price. Also you have to pay taxes.

The P7M8's generally sell for more (both in US and Can) when compared to a similar condition P7 PSP.

For comparison, last year I purchased a very nice 2005 P7M8 with 6 mags, with original grips, plus a set of Nill wood grips, with the box/papers for $1750.00 total. Which I felt was a "smokin deal"!!

If you have not shot a P7, they are incredibly accurate, compact and are a work of art, both in design and function. Great little gun to shoot.

I would suggest you keep looking and when you find a nice gun at a fair price..................jump on it.

Good luck.

Whenever I see them which isn't all that often, I find PSPs around the $1200 mark ($1100-1300 usually) and M8s for $2000-2200

I just got an amazing deal on a p7m8, $1250 with three mags shipped to my door. A very nice nutter messaged me with this lovely deal after i had a thread up about trying to find one.

He said he had paid $1250 for it a couple years ago and said that all he wanted was his money back. Great guy to deal with. When my camera is up and running i was going to put up a thread on it.
