Just a PSA heads-up that a little birdie in the know told me today that HKParts.net has been blacklisted as a manufacturer by the US State Department. This means that any parts or accessories manufactured by HKParts.net are ineligible for export and can no longer be listed for import by the various 3rd Party Importers. This further means that while it is OK to buy actual German Hk parts from HKParts.net and have them imported, it is no longer possible to have anything actually manufactured under the HKParts.net name exported from the US.
It is unclear if this is yet another nail in the coffin for those G36s now being manufactured in the US by Tom Bostic using parts manufactured by "GSG-9". It is not clear to me whether GSG-9 is a legally-linked subsidiary of HKParts.net. In addition to parts for HK black guns, HKParts.net also manufactures selected parts for HK pistols such as compensators. So heads up HK pistol fans as well.
The fact that the owner of HK Parts.net is currently serving time in a US Federal Penitentiary may be related to the blacklisting of the company's parts. Just saying....
