I scanned this page from a 1988 catalogue of International Firearms Company, St/ Laurent PQ. Enjoy. And note the minimal price difference between the P7, M8 and M13 models compared to what is sold for in todays market.

I wonder if I call up HK, give em a part number, would I be able to get them to honor this pricing and I wonder if the local store still has those 18 round magazines for the Canadian Sportsman. That's awesome.

Still find it hard to imagine what it was like when grown-ups didn't need their hands held crossing the street.

When I'm old and can't rack the slide no more, I guess I'll get a revolver. Seriously, like em all, respect.

What I saw partticularly interesting is that the price difference between the models is so little compared to how much people add as a premium today when selling an M8/M13. Personally I like the smaller P7 over the other variations.

Using the Bank of Canada's Inflation Calculator the M8 comes out at $1881 in 2015 dollars and the M13 at $2022. That surprises me--it's not all that far off what you see them listed at on the EE. I hadn't realized what they were going for back then--I bought a Glock 17 for $450 in 1991.

I think if they charged those prises today, they would still sell. I would buy a new P7M8 for that much.
