I have a SL8 and the HERA lower on the way (thanks Wolverine!) and I was wondering how I go about putting a stock on it.
I want to put a PRS stock on it, but I read something about the Hera only working with collapsible stocks? Something about carbine buffer tubes and receiver extensions? Its all greek to me so if someone would be kind enough to shine some light on the situation....

I have a HERA gen 2 lower with ACR stock and love it. I have the adapter to use AR stocks and any buffer tube will thread in so it should work fine with the PRS.
Personally I'd go with the UBR if your going with an AR stock.

I think (but not 100% sure) that the PRS uses a rifle buffer tube so maybe that's what whoever you were talking to was talking about.

The original Gen-1 HERA stocks didn't have the lower 'alignment' 1/2" hole so a rifle type stock would just be free spinning.

The new Gen-2 adapters have the adapter block with the buffer tube threads and the 1/2" alignment hole, so all would be well for the PRS except for maybe an obscene length-of-pull :p
