Hey, been shooting the usc for a while now and the mags pinned to 5 is pretty lame. Have any of you guys seen or heard of a pistol mag that would fit in the usc? It's a .45, a guy could even convert it to 9mm if those mags would work. And if not is it legal to let's say modify a single stack 1911 mag somehow?. Just wondering anyways thanks.

I played around with a spare USC lower to convert to USP mags. the feed angle from the pistol mag is the biggest problem. you need to build a complete new lower.

If you alter the mag it now must conform to the rifle you modified it for. So a pistol mag altered to fit a USC is limited to 5 rounds.

Yep as CNADNSL8-5 has stated the angle of the magazines for a pistol magazine is way different than in a USC magazine with an exact 90 degree feed angle (and the lower orients it to the correct position)

I have often thought about making a drawing for a USC lower but there are a few things that make it a PITA to actually DO. Plus with the numbers of USC's in Canada and the numbers of people actually wanting pistol mag conversions, it would probably not be worth it to go through with all the hassle.

Ya that is pretty much what I figured too, been looking around for a pistol mag with a 90deg feed but closest one is a 1911, a stick mag would be ideal but those are all pinned to five I Believe too:( lol guess it's more trouble than it's worth hey. Thanks anyway boys!
