They're are less than 5 HK416 10.4" Uppers floating around in Canada on the civi market. I recall one of which went for upwards of 5k possibly towards 10k. MR223 doesn't tickle my fancy, if I can't use it on a regular M4/AR lower it is no good.

I'm pretty sure the mr223 is interchangeable with other ar lowers now..
but why is it called the m223 in canada, not the 556?
so basically there are no complete 416 rifles available? i'll have to look at importing one.
thanks guys.

i've seen a slightly used one on EE not to long ago... it went for $3500..
Yes.. they are called MR 223/308 here in Canada... Great rifles, just about as reliable as AR gets...
does the mr 223 have a two stage trigger?
thanks for all the replies.
Same goes with their pistols. If you want part compatibility/availability and stuff, buy a 1911 or Glock. Not a USP. But again, you never have to worry about your USP breaking. Same goes for the MR223.
All companies that make firearms need maintenance it does not matter which kind, that being said many HK firearms tend to be built like tanks.
I have seen one HK416 upper on the EE since I have joined, asking price was 10K+.
