That’s a scam. The guy selling them just paints HK MR556 in USA. Prices stuff you can buy on your own and calls it a Seal deployment kit.

The real deal 416 semi auto version is restricted. It was not widely available as Germany no longer exports "military" rifles for civilian sales. Im sure you can expect to pay at least 12k for one if you can actually find one.

The more widely available MR223 is much easier to find and will "only" cost you 3k ish

I saw a limited edition Mark Owen “No Easy Day” HK 416 package in an AZ gun store for sale. Rifle was select fire and had a can.
Left the store with a woodie!
Can’t remember the exact price but it was 5 figures.

I can guarantee the lower wasn't a 416 lower - the 416 wasn't made before 1986, so a transferable Class 3 is not a possibility.
