Got my HK45 from Arma Coat a couple weeks ago, and finally got some time to take a couple more pictures of her! Was totally worth the 5 month wait!
Can't believe I waited so long to get this thing, compared to my other HK handgun (a Mark23) this is thing moves like a fighter jet Vs a cargo plane. I can't understand why people gripe about the trigger, it's pretty decent (double action is heavy as heck but single action is MUCH nicer than the M&P and glock triggers), and the grip fits me like a glove. Really nice little handgun!
Got my Hi-Viz sights installed too (what a PITA, VERY nice sights but had to fit the front dovetail quite a bit). Very much worth it, I love fiber-optic sights though!
Had a guy I know recommend me Solely Canadian for a holster for it, and DAMN it's nice! Really nice fit and finish, locks in great and nice and compact. Hopefully we'll have some IDPA type shooting going on this summer, I really want to try it out under some stress! The mag holder is very nice too, sits at a good height and has adjustable tension.
Here is the Hi-Viz sights installed, got a couple nice focus shots:
And for the holster, can't say enough good things about it!
He even puts a nice little chicago screw setup in it, so if you want to use the holster without a light you can put that screw in and it puts tension on it (it'll work and lock in without it but it's a little looser, with the tension pin it's solid.)
A couple more glory shots:
CAN'T WAIT TO GO SHOOTING! too bad the ground is still too soggy in most places, may have to take her to Pheonix range and test her out!
