HK45 sights adjustment

Did anyone of you adjusted their HK45 sights?
Which tool did you used?

I need to adjust mine, it's shooting a bit left.

Piece of copper, a hammer and a vise with soft jaws.

I'm apprehensive about putting a hk45 slide in a vice. It is triangular shaped and would be more susceptible to crushing than a usp45 or glock. I have no proof, it just seems like it may be a problem to me.

Maybe you could borrow a site adjustment tool?

Oh I wouldn't worry about putting 'em in a vice - just use some common sense. I use a wooden dowel and plastic non-marring hammer for the job myself. The key is the soft padded jaws on the vice. They will need a firm rap to move but you won't need to beat the hell out of them.
