Howdy compatriots
I've been shooting a beautiful HK45C for the last year and love it. Very accurate and soft shooting for a .45.
My issue is that my high thumb grip rides the safety. The issue is the recoil which will cause the gun to click the safety down just enough to disable the trigger (not a full decock but enough to disable the trigger. My work around has been to rest my right thumb on the web of my non shooting hand but this causes poor pointability and a nonintuitve grip.
I'd like to either convert the firearm to the LEM trigger or use the plate that converts from safety/decocker to just plain safety.
Is anyone aware of where I can source these parts in Canada? I'm comfortable doing the conversion myself if I can just find the parts. Or if required I can send it off to an armorer for conversion.
Also if you have a line on some 10 shot mags for this pistol ( extended 45c or full length HK45 would be acceptable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a bunch
And enjoy the rest of your weekend.
