I have been asked to put a value on an HK91 308 cal with bipod near new condition. I know the prohib long arms took a hit when the SAPs were cancelled. Anyone have an idea on their present value?
 
might depend on the amount of accessories, mags, and such, but i think can-am is very close on the value. when i bought mine a few years back, i paid 12 with accessories, the guy had 2 and offered the second to me for 8 hundred. but i couldn't do it at the time.
 
How is the reliability, quality, and accuracy of the HK 91? I am seriously contemplating one, closest I can get to a G3 without having a prohib license.
 
I am limited further by not having my prohib license but rather just a restricted and non restricted... what would be my options for rifles that look like G3's but are semi's? and what are there price ranges? I am not trying to hijack your thread I just love these rifles.
 
I wonder how quickly the price would skyrocket if the semi auto variants moved into non-restricted / restricted(barrel length)...

Judging by the demand for AR10s (i.e. quality semi-auto .308 black rifles) I'd say $3000+ given that no more are being brought into the country.
