hnr useful fun

I like big heavy slow bullets. I found the hrn catalogue and got to thinking. What would their most fun caliber be. I've narrowed it down to the 500sw, 444 marlin, or 35 whelen. What would you choose and why? As a side note I may use it for black bear hunting also

For fun and nothing else, I'd go for .357 Mag, just for the ability to shoot inexpensively. Going for bear, I'd say .444 of .45-70

Are you kidding? If you don't already have one or more (and you don't, or else you wouldn't need to ask this question) get a .45-70 and start loading. A $4000 Sharps would be perfect. Best of all, a $400 H&R Buffalo Classic would still be nearly perfect.

I had a guy tell me that they would out shoot a lot of the higher end ones.
