I am a little shocked to see your prices. I am sure you did not get the powder at such a phenomenal cost to justify these prices.
I have bought from a few other stores that also got new shipments and did not pay more than $54 a pound of varget or H4350.

There is no need to rip off your customers to be honest.

I paid 54.99 ea for 8lbs recently…
Can’t see how it jumped 20$ per pound only for one retailer. Maybe it’s a typo.

More like $79.99 for Varget

I paid 52.99 a pound 1 week ago at a local retailer here in Quebec. With the Nazi taxes it was still cheaper.

Blows my mind though. If you want repeat customers - treat them well. You might sell out your powder now as it is scarce. But you lose customers in the long run which hurts your business.

I have nothing against you guys Rangeview Sports and go out of my way to support Canadian businesses. But this is a bit extreme and bordering on price gouging which is a deplorable practice.

I am not surprising, Tenda was selling Varget for $69.99 about a couple of weeks ago. If their price is on the lower side, I assume average store will list it around $75 more or less. Rangeview is just on the higher side, maybe the highest, but they have it available.

They're free to price it as they see fit, and you're free to shop somewhere else if you can get it cheaper. Welcome to a free market!

Maybe they have higher rent to cover in their location than someone in an industrial unit?

It doesn't help that other folk still have out-of-stock listings with pre-COVID pricing, looks tempting but you'll never actually get any at that price again. With what Trudeau has done to the value of a Canadian dollar everything is getting shockingly more expensive. And maybe some more sensitive retailers don't want to be accused of gouging passing on the price increase so it's safer being out-of-stock for awhile until we either get back to normal or people accept the new normal?

I'll always prefer a seller who has what I want in stock over one who doesn't.

As I mentioned, I bought some Varget and H4350 from some stores in Quebec that recently received new stock and both were priced way under $60. So I don't think $69.99 or worse $79.99 is the average price.

They absolutely are free to charge what they want - Just like I am free to call it out.

Best business practices is to sell at the right price so that you have a good return and increased volume.

I do not have anything against them and was not malicious in my post but felt that the prices were soo high that I thought I would mention that. In addition, We are all Canadian and no reason to charge exuberant amounts of money just because they know that these products are scarce at the moment.

I did not buy wood during the COVID for the exact same reason

This retailer posted powder at similar gouging prices a week or two ago, then the post disappeared after the thread became 100% complaints. This must be another kick at the can.

I haven't been publicly criticizing them in their own posts before but let's just say that every time I see the extreme markup, I take a screenshot and post it in a meme section of a Discord server because this is insane. Free do to as they want, i'm not arguing and I don't know if other retailers are selling at a loss or 0 profit but it seems a bit shady looking at this from the benches.
