I'm looking for some info about the Hodgdon Xperimental packs...

Does Hodgdon still produce these?

Does anyone know where I might find some?


I do have a bit of powder left that I'm fairly happy with but I'd like to see if I can get better results without spending $30-$42 per pound to test some new loads.

What powders were you hoping to try?

As many as I can :) But I can't think of anything off the top of my head.

To be honest, I just thought it was really a neat idea to be able to open up a fresh xperimental pack when I purchase a new rifle.

That's the thing. When you have a few rifles there tends to be several types of powder around anyway. And after awhile you end up with boxes of open and unopened boxes of bullets that didn't work or are no longer being used in something else. You're really starting to get somewhere when you buy a new rifle and you don't even need dies for it.
