So, seeing as the fires wiped alot of the deer out in my local, an beyond.. then the parks mob heli culled remaining recently an so on... We now also have a proposed Animal Welfare act that basically, in short , would create all sorts of issues by callin all animals 'sentient beings ' but thats another story...
So i heard about Hog deer a while ago but didnt give the much thought, being so small... but look like baby antlered Sambar deer!
they live on the coastal areas in eastern Victoria, an some island sorta things.
Anyway there is a ballot for them, So i looked into it more an its got sound research management and oppertunitie for the rec hunter- So im in the ballot, due to be Drawn around 11 December....
would love to Draw this year an mix up an put effort into something else!
