Well I am pissed. Mid deer season and the rear sight of my savage hog Hunter has disappeared. I have ordered an aperture from Williams but it will not be here til after the season. If you are buying one, the rear sight is really high and held by single screw that seems to be insufficient to hold the sight. My screw was still tight but notch portion was cleanly gone. Fortunately, I have a 30-30 bolt gun and an SKS for back up. Any other owners experience this?
