Has anyone successfuly put a hogue grip on their VZ 58?

I saw a picture on google of someone who put an AK hogue grip on theirs. Wondering if anyone here has any type of hogue grip on theirs and if so, was any extra work involved? I just love hogue grips!

it is quite simple to adapt any AK grip to fit the VZ. Personally, I wish we had someone importing the dirt cheap fiberglass and plastic AK grips to take advantage of the endless grip colors and styles we could use. Some have removed the retaining plate on the cz. Not a good idea in my opinion. All you do is take your vz grip and put it against the ak grip top to top. Trace the outline of the top of the vz grip. Then cut that line a quarter of an inch or so from the top down to fit into the retaining plate. The hogue grip being rubber you might not even need a dremel. Might get by with a sharp razor blade. You will need to also clearance the right side of the AK grip for the safety lever. Buy the grip and then take a look before you start cutting. pretty straightforward when you see it.
