Couple of questions, firstly has anyone got one of these stocks and if so what do you think of them? I'm considering one of the hogues if I could ever find one in Canada and also considering one of the stock plastic stocks. How do the 2 stocks compare? I'm looking for a decent stock for everyday use. I'm interested in using it with just the standard barrel. Any suggestions?

I'll tell you right now, If i could send my hogue back i would, its so flimsy, I dont know about the other one but the rubber coated one in my opinion is the ####s, my gun still shoots fine thouhg

I've had one on my standard stainless unit for 4 years or so, I LOVE it. It does scuff and mark a little more than a normal plastic stock, but not near as bad as wood. On wet cold days I always have a firm grip and don't feel the cold through it like my other stocks.

Maybe Derek will sell you his. LOL !!!!!!!!

Houge stock

I really like the 10/22 stock I just installed.Easy to put on and seems to have a tight fit in the mag well. I have had one on my rem 700 30.06 for years with no problems. Try Italian in Van.

10/22 Hogue

I tried Italian nothing in stock, the guy was next to useless couldn't tell me when they'd have one or how much it would be:jerkit: Now I remember why I didn't like dealing with them in the past!!! Anyways Ya Hey Derek let me know if you want to get rid of it!!

i have one on my rifle, great grip and it fits my hand well. like mentioned its a little flimsy at the front, but i dont care it was 80 bucks shipped and the rugers stoopid stock is gone!

I love my rubber Hogue 10/22 stock, and am almost as impressed with the one on my Ruger 77. They have a great feel to them, and the 10/22, with a carbon fibre barrel, weighs almost nothing. I don't think they feel any more flimsy than most other 10/22 stocks I've handled. The model 77 stock has the aluminum bedding block and is very solid, though heavy.

Epps usually has a good selection of these in stock.

Called em this morning, the guy said no we don't have one in stock, I said when will you have one and how much will it be, he said I'm not sure when I'll have one probably within a month as far as price he said with all the fluctuations in the $$$ he wouldn't commit to a price....

Thats sucks...i think it was like tagged at 125 when i was looking.

Direct from hogue, a OM stock black or OD green standard barrel channel costs $89-99 USD. Plus $24 shipping, and the taxes you get dinged with when it arrives.

I like ordering from Hogue because I'll get what I want NOW. I'll pay more for that. If a dealer has a hogue product you want in stock, grab it. :D

I had one on a 10/22 I sold and if I bought another 10/22, I would be getting a Hogue stock again. My 10/22 shot better after I installed it and they have a great feel. WAY better than the hard plastic ones.....
