Has anyone used one of these and if so, what is it like, would you recomend it to someone?

recommend it highly, great stock, I had one with a volq. 16.5" carbon fibre barrel and that thing would drive tacks all day and weighed around 3 lbs total.

I had the action bedded into it and used the little tape on the front to support the barrel.

I was reading on rimfire central that some people considered them to be 'flimsy'. Did you find the fore stock lacking at all?

I've got one on my standard barrel 10-22. I love it!! I bedded the barrel and it works great. Nice feel and no wiggle that you mention. I think my Mossy 500 will end up in one one day!!!

I had one that was poorly made. The front was too low and the barrel floated. A bit of tape in the front of the channel fixed it.

Other than that they hug you like a glove.

Most of the synthetic stock forends are flimsy. Best bet is to re-inforce with epoxy. I actually expoxied little bits of plywood into the forend of my BC synth stock. REALLY makes it firm, and won't move at all when I cant my rifle with the harris swivel bipod.

Could you post a couple of pics pilot24? That is the set up I am considering building.

drool...
