Hogue Tamer Pistol Grip for Mossberg 590

My biggest concern with this grip is the action release button. Does the grip make it difficult to press the action release button with your thumb?

Recently I ran into this problem with the Knoxx Spec-ops; It made hitting the action release button very unpleasant.

Does the Hogue Tamer have the same issue?

no sure on the pistol grip, i just bought a houhue 12 lop synth stock for mine,......way too nice

the Mossberg controls are not really suited for pistol grip. I tried the tamer on a Mossberg and it is more difficult to release the action and use the safety but it's still possible.
One thing you should know about the Mossberg version of the tamer is that it does not have the slot cut out of the top to pass a sling through!
I don't know why Hogue uses the 870 model in the picture because it's not the same grip as the Mossberg version.
The best pistol grip I tried when I had a Mossberg was the Speedfeed "witness protection" because all the controls worked like they were designed to.
