Anyone heading out rabbit hunting over the holidays? Good way to walk off Christmas dinner and extra dessert. Hope everyone has has a good one.

My brother and I take my four beagles on Xmas Day every year. Not sure about this year though...we had tons of rain on Christmas Eve and probably more for the big day...so much for a White Xmas! Hope everybody has a safe and fun holiday!

Heading up to Moms in a day or so, gonna snipe a few for Pies Need to learn the ways of the Pie maker, cause I love wild meat pie , from rabbit, moose, deer, grouse etc....

Here you go just in case you get lucky!
Rabbit Pie
2 cups cooked, rabbit diced
2 Tbs. oil
1 can cream of mushroom soup
½ can cream of broccoli soup
2 Tbs. onion, chopped fine
3 cups potato, diced
½ cup frozen peas
1 large carrot, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 cup milk
½ tsp. garlic powder.
2 10 inch pie crusts
In a 2qt. sauce pan, brown cooked meat in oil. Add the soups, onion, peas, potatoes, carrot, celery, milk, and garlic powder. Simmer together for 25 minutes. Pour filling into an unbaked 10-inch piecrust, add top crust, seal the edges and cut some vent holes. Bake at 400 for 60 minutes.

Ditto here.
Going out tomorrow, for three days. Taking a cougar tag too, just in case.
Hakx and I went out last Sat.,we seen three moose(cow's,calf),two Yodle dogs and some big deer off in the distance and LOTS of wabbit tracks, but no wabbits, a very watery track soup was on the stove that nite
But there's still 2 weeks of getting out there left...for me atleast.
