I was just testing my AR with different rounds to check for feeding. It seemed to be that some HP ammo did not feed 100% reliably.
Could this be the a problem with the area that mattes up with the breach/chamber/ feed ramp and where it sits in the lower reciever? There appears to be a little bump as the rounds feed up into the chamber. It only happened so far when I manually cycled the firearm, haven't had any problems at the range with FMJ.
Also, when I remove rounds from the mag the way it would be cycled, the bottom of the brass (crimped area) appears to get caught on the front of the mag, just wear the top of the follower sits.
