Holosun’s K footprint and Shield RMS

So I got the strike shotgun optics mount found here

It doesn't specifically list the Holosun K foot print. But everything I've read says that the K foot print is essentially the same as the Shield RMS (minus the rear recoil lugs) and should be interchangeable.. The web sight also seems to show HS507K X2 (which is a k footprint according to Holosun's website) mounted on it, which is the optic I'm considering...

I've reached out to them but haven't heard back.

Has anyone had any experience with the K / Shield Rms interchangeability? Want to make sure before I pull the trigger on the optic.
