The HS510C Open Reflex Circle Dot Sight has an open frame for a wide sight picture. Always on, it is powered by solar cell under normal usage, and a back-up battery to supplement power requirements in low light conditions. The reticle can be switched between a 65 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot, or a 2 MOA dot only at the push of a button. Better yet, the same LED projects both reticles, so no re-zeroing is necessary.

Features

  • When focussing on the target, the size of the reticle will change based on the distance between your eyes and objective lens.
  • Parallax free optical design, with unlimited eye relief.
  • Minimized obstruction of vision with push button controls and a streamlined housing design.
  • Switchable circle/dot and red dot reticles.
  • Always on unless manually turned off.
  • Internal battery tray design.
  • 32mm×24mm open lens.
  • Solar cell and high capacity battery provide dual power supplies.
  • Titanium-alloyed, shock resistant protective hood.
  • Includes accessory AR riser.
  • Quick release mount .
  • Adaptable to Picatinny and Weaver rails.
  • CNC machined with T6061-T6 housing.

I think it's a trend as I heard Primary Arms red dots creeping up in price to about $400USD.

I picked up a Holosun HS503GU from Reliable not long ago, and though it cost more more than previous iterations of Holosun's red dots, it seemed to be of better quality and finish, with better controls, and noticeably less glare so my guess is probably better quality glass.

How big is it compared to an eotech?

The 510C has about the same lens size as an EOTech, but the frame on the EOTech is bigger. Here's a couple pictures for reference.

"Includes accessory AR riser."

What is the height of the optic? Absolute or Lower 1/3?
It looks to be sitting even lower than that EOtech XPS which is an absolute cowitness.

The above is a non QD XPS2 or 3. You are thinking about the EXPS which are QD lower 1/3.

Tu as raison!!!!!!! Anyway, I'll be checking these out next time I'm in Reliable... Maybe something to spend my gift certificates I won at DSSMatch!!

Thanks for sponsoring our events, and thanks for bringing in cool kit Reliable!
