Holosun Red Dot and Parallax Issue

So I had a chance to try 2 Holosun red dots today, 515 and 503 and surprisingly, neither was parallax free as advertised. Also, they would not work without a battery in the tray.

I was wondering if other people who have have tried these optics could chime and let me know about their experience.

There's no optics out there that's truly parallax free.

They all needs minimum 75 yards or so to be parallax free.

What about the battery thing?

I have the 503 and it does work without battery BUT it needs sufficient ambient light for it to light up.
