Holosun Sight Warranty

This is not really directed at Canada Ammo but I made my purchase with them. I bought a Holosun HS403G in January this year. I mounted it and then realized there is a loose part inside the sight.

Initially I plan to contact Canada Ammo but decided to check out Holosun site instead. I contacted them for warranty issue, and showed them pics of the problem. Within 24 hours I got a respond, and they didn't even asked me to ship them the defective sight or pay for the shipping of a new replacement.

As I live near Toronto area, I received the replacement sight in 4 days after the shipping. I just want to let everybody know of my experience. :d
 
I had a very similar occurrence with them as well. I bought a model 503 I think and it had an issue and without even looking at it they sent me a brand new one. They offered to pay the shipping but I said I would cover it and for doing that they gave me a discount on the 515C I bought from them. For the money they are an awesome sight and if anything goes wrong the warranty is second to none.
 
working with holosun on a warranty claim right now on the 503c - will let everyone know how it goes, but so far so good at the retailer level. see how holosun goes.

Second to vortex, because the holosun warranty is only 3 years and non transferable.
 
I had what I thought was an issue, Holosun canada emailed me back immediately, (think it was a sunday aft) and after a few back and forths, found out the optic is 100% and my old eyes and an astigmatism was the issue. Funny, guy was super friendly and helpful. Love the holosun products and now the service too.

LOL..i had this same "warranty" issue you experienced with every red dot i have ever bought. I only recently realized it was my eyes not the sight. Red dots become red footballs or red dashes with these old eyes.

Was debating on purchasing a Holosun sight because I was unsure about the warranty customer service, you just sold me on it. So thanks man, I'm sure you are making Canada Ammo happy with this post as I'm sure it will help them move more optics.
 
Good to know.

One of mine (solar powered one) stopped working. I assumed the battery was dead so I put it in the sun to see if it would recharge and it did work for a bit. I got a new battery and replaced it. Didn't work with the new battery either. So I put it in the sun and now it's working. For now.

I wonder if something is loose inside too :)
 
I sent them an email at 8pm PST and they got back to me at 9pm on a Friday night. Pretty impressive.

Asked me to check battery polarity and I had the battery upside down Laugh2
