Holster advice requested

Bladetec DOH are excellent and used by a lot of Ipsc competitors in production division. You can change the height and Angle and they are fairly reasonably priced. With a lot of use they will over time cause wear to the pistols finish.

Safariland 6004 is what I use with Glock. You can get them cheap off of copsplus, and they do ship up here.

I have the Safariland and I really like the lining inside, with the thumb retention. It's not a drop leg though. You do need a stiff belt unless you use the paddle. But holy crap is the paddle tough to get off.
Holster course...lol

Thanks for all the advice guys. I hit the EE to see what was available and lo and behold got a Bladetech OWB and double mag pouch for a good deal! I am pretty happy with this and think it will be perfect for me!

Nice! Well done.... nothing wrong with buying it used for a good price. Keep us posted... I am curious to hear what you like/dislike about it.

For what it is worth, the Serpa is specifically disallowed at many firearms training schools like Gunsite or Front Sight.

I would second the commentary regarding a drop leg holster. For what you describe, a good belt holster is the answer. One word of advice regarding both Blade Tech and Comp Tech holsters. They are excellent BUT source them in Canada, In the past I have bought direct and received them through the mail. Both companies have signed agreements with private parcel services. One uses UPS the other Fed Ex. Both of these companies charge additional fees when they deliver the item here in Canada. A recent purchase from Comp Tec cost me an additional $32. in local fees on top of the delivery charges charged by the company. I phoned the company and learned UPS sells an integrated accounting package which allows for improved inventory and sales/inventory/production control and precludes the use of the post office. The additional charges makes their products prohibitively expensive IMHO compared to both leather and other kydex holster makers when ordered direct.

Take Care

Bob
