Holster for 686 4.25 inches???

Hi guys... l'm looking for a great holster for my newly bought 686 with canadian 4.25 barrel... all I can find is 4 inches model holster and pretty sure it won't fit. Any clues for me?

A 4" bladetech kydex will work. Not sure about leather holsters or kydex with a closed bottom.

I get all of my holsters from diamond d leather in Alaska. Made for barrel length.

I have a budget Fobus Plastic Holster for mine. Some day I will get a nice leather one to treat her right. Fits the 4.2" 686 perfectly functions as expected. I have shot a few PPC Service matches with it.

Buy a Bladetech for a 5" model and if you just have to have that 1/2" or so removed, cut it off and clean up the edge of the kydex with sandpaper.

The 4" bladetech model still covers the 4.2" Canadian models. No need for the 5".

For someone wanting just a cheap holster, the Fobus one works. I bought mine on amazon 3 years ago.

Bladetech is a much better holster if you're using it often. I would suggest Soley Canadian if you want a Canadian made kydex (to whatever specifications you want).

To the OP you went with the Bladetech and you won't be disappointed. I have one for my 686 4.2" and they are well made and yours wlll last you a lifetime. I have one for both my 686 and GP-100 and have been using them for IDPA. No issues. I would blue loc tite the screws though. They do work loose after use.

I ordered a 4.25 version as Wild West had it in stock over Tenda that advertise just de 4"... but the package I got say 4" (they have 4" and 4.25 on website so...). Still ok as the tip of the gun just barely stick out. Looks great and solid tho!
