Holster for a SW SD9VE

FWIW, Fobus, AlienGear and BlackHawk Serpa all make SD9VE-specific holsters in various forms of attachment.
SOME M&P holsters will work, but not all. Not sure if there is a reliable list of which ones fit.
Most SD series holsters are IWB for concealed carry in the states. The gun is sold and marketed as a CC pistol and most USA buyers get it for that purpose - like a less expensive S&W Shield.
I'm a lefty, which mens even fewer choices, so my SD9VE holster is this guy from Fobus:
In this case, Fobus sells the same holster for the M&P and SD9 series - they made it interchangeable for both guns.

Glock makes a soft rubber belt holster called the Sport Holster. It comes in a small and large size. Large is for 45's.
It is a "universal" design. Virtually every pistol will fit one or the other. I carry one in my kit bag in case I or someone else discover they forgot their holster, or brought the wrong one.
And it is cheap. I pay about $16USD on ebay.
