Rather than pollute the Freedom Ventures thread, I decided to get another one going here.

I know of the ghost stinger and bladetech, but right now I can't find the bladetech and I'm shying away from the stinger. Are there any other holster options available?

I'm really looking for something with retention as well, but am not holding my breath.

For clarity, I don't want a race holster.

You can order direct from Bladetech if no one around here carries what you are looking for specifically. They are a bit slow right now though due to demand.

I'm adding another insert for my DAA Race Master for IPSC.
USPSA I'll likely pick up a Bladetech DOH.
Nice thing about the DAA RM, I can use it for my 1911, SV standard gun, and now the Stock 3 by swapping out the inserts.
Just a thought...........

I've not seen the right bladetech holster for the stock 3.... double tap has em but only for left hand and preorder only?

PM cbabes, I know he is using a Bladetech DOH with his Stock III. I think he had to heat it a little bit to form it to the Stock III.

Update....I ordered a holster from bladetech which should work fine for ipsc/uspsa....and am gonna try a Jr holster for 3 gun which I got from redtipbullet

Just as an update for those who come across this thread.

I preferred not to have any drop of offsets in 3 gun. Just easier this way when slings are involved and its something I am more comfortable/consistent with

....I finally got both my stock 3s up and running. After initially dismissing the JR holster because it was flimsy, I actually think it could do quite well for 3 gun. The retention holds the holster quite well and I got rid of a lot of the flimsiness by mounting the ELS fork right to the holster. The active retention can still be defeating with an extreme amount of force, but I don't think this would ever happen practically.

As an alternative, I frankenmodified my ghost stinger and added in some thumb adjustable screws. This holster also has very good retention without needing extraordinary force to remove.

It was especially difficult getting the holsters right since apparently my one stock 3 is much large than the other, particularly at the muzzle. I expected holsters which fit one gun would fit the other, but that wasn't the case. The ghost fit both but my one bladetech needed some heat treatment.
