Holster for IDPA

Q's for the IDPA shooters out there:
1. What holster are you running?
2. What hip position? (ie. 3 o'clock? 4? 5?)
3. What cant do you have on your holster (0? 5? 10?)

I'm thinking about getting a SolCan but having troubles with the details.

All my other holsters are 0-cant worn at 3 o'clock.
These I use for IPSC-like shoots where there isn't that "concealment" aspect.

Has to be belt high.
Has to cover trigger and most of the slide.
 
Any concealment design that covers the trigger guard is good. Most use Bladetech holsters. 1.5" belt.
Between 3-5 o'clock is fine. I use a 5 degree cant at 4:30 but zero is fine too. NOT a forward cant though.
Get the SolCan Concealment design, not the competition holster, with belt loops if you are still thinking that brand.

I like 10 D cant at around 4 o'clock. I use only Solely's, concealment holsters and mag pouches. What other details are you having trouble with?
What gun and barrel length are you planning on using?

Belts can be as wide as 1 3/4". Most of the tip shooters I have seen use Zero cant. Check out the RB for a complete description as to what is allowed at www,idpa.com

CV32 post is bang on, Bladegtech is more popular in the Western part of the US while Comp tac gets more support from the Eastern half. Guess where each is located. LOL

I am relatively new to IDPA. I use Solely Canadian Holsters for both my CZ 75 SP01 Shadow (ESP - Novice) and my Sig P320 (SSP - Unclassified local matches) and I recommend them highly.
 
Solely Canadian concealment, 10 degree cant, Glock 34 that I had Soley raise belt loops 1/2" because of the longer barrel/slide, and the competition double mag pouch with the first mag canted 10 degrees forward. This works great for IDPA!
And a custom grip job done by Blackbox Custom! Improved my matches so much in Expert ESP that I came in first the first three matches last season here at the ATHL IDPA matches. Not bragging, but these two companies are outstanding!
 
As a newbie myself I use the holster and mag pouches that came with my M&P9 range kit. I've now got a 9mm 1911 with 5" barrel and, as I get more used to it, i'll need a holster and mag pouch for it.

I carry at 3 o'clock, 0 cant
