Holster for IPSC? Sig 226

Hi guys,

I am planning to take Black Badge course with SIG 226. It has a rail. Tried few holsters, but they are too tight for fast draw. Please recommend which could be more suitable for this purpose.

I use the Blackhawk Sepa for my 226, fast and secure.

Bladetech is a good choice, I've been very happy with their stuff. Just one step down from a race style holster.

The new Safariland ALS holsters are the cats ass. And they are cheaper than both the Blackhawk and Bladetechs.

If, after the Black Badge, IPSC is the primary purpose for which you want the holster, you should consider a race holster. The race holster will engage the triggerguard (+ or - engagement at the muzzle) but won't slow your draw. I know, I know it's gamey, but IPSC is gamey. A race holster will fit and it will not handicap you later.
