Does anyone know what brand and style of holsters are used in the Canadian Forces Small Arms Competition for their Browning Hi Powers? The rulebook says that it must be like something used by their home unit but doesn't mention any specific brands.

You will see all kinds of holsters at CFSAC,, as long as it is safe and you can safely and deftly operate/draw from it when you are wearing all your kit. Most if not all, will be the drop leg style with some kind of retention. The bianchi model is the most common (and is the currently issued one), but there are better ones out there like the safariland and the blackhawk models.
Most matches will be in combination with your rifle,, so you will really need to have your kit wired tight with everything in place and easily accessed, this includes a solid one point or two point sling for your rifle (you will need to transition to your pistol after firing a few with the rifle),, you will need to have you pistol mags handy and accessible too.
Have fun with it,,

Bianchi UM-84 is the official designation of them.

1095-01-194-3343 bianchi UM-84 holster
1085-01-339-2213 bianchi UM-84 hip exender
1095-01-432-1517 bianchi UM-84 thumb strap

NSN's acquired from AR-15.com, and they reflect US NSN's, which may actually be correct (the -01- indicates the country code, USA being 00 and 01, Canada being 21 or 22, UK being 99....those are the ones I can still remember.)

Have a peek at the CGCS and see if you can track them down, or go talk to your storesies about how to get them.

There are actually very few restrictions on the holsters allowed for CFSAC. Shelldrake has it right and nearly any holster is accessible as long as it is safe and has some type of retention device. Although used in theater, cross draw holsters or the use of a mag pouch as a holster (as seen in one of the pictures above) is specifically not allowed.

Pick something up like the HSGI or Blackhawk Serpas Drop Leg holster. We sell tons of them to guys going overseas.

I hear nothing but complaints about the issue Bianchi.
